Ventilating and air conditioning design for Guyana International Conference Center

Based on local conditions, establishes the indoor thermal comfort standard and the design principles including shading, heat insulation and emission through building envelope, natural ventilation, mechanical ventilation, and air conditioner only for refrigeration. By adopting appropriate technology according to local climate conditions, designs the special building configuration including dooryards and grey space to form ecological microclimate, which makes it possible to satisfy the thermal comfort of human body by means of natural ventilation, and also to save nonrenewable energy by reducing the use of air conditioner to a great extent.
